At the 2009 Association for Accounting Marketing Conference in Austin, the Texas sun wasn't the only thing that was hot. Southeast CPA firm Dixon Hughes was truly on fire, walking away from the AAM-MAA Awards with four wins: Corporate Identity, Advertising, Web and a never-before given award for Campaign Excellence.
The winning marketing materials were part of a new firm brand launched in 2008. Dixon Hughes sought to position itself as a "positively unique" choice for private and public companies who must often opt for either the resources of a national/Big 4 firm or the relationships (personal service) of local firms. The Top 20 U.S. firm wanted to create interest in and boost measurable awareness of its position as a dominant Southeast regional player.
